PENNGROVE, Calif. — With the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals rapidly approaching, Chase Johnson has joined CB Industries to take on the 37th annual event in Tulsa, Okla., with Sage Fruit Company as his sponsor. 86 entry for the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire. “We are excited here at Sage Fruit to work with Chase and the rest of the CB Industries team at the 2023 Chili Bowl,” said Chuck Sinks, Sage Fruit. The 2023 running of the Chili Bowl will be the ninth attempt for the 27-year-old at the prestigious show. “I’m certainly thrilled for the opportunity to run the Chili Bowl again with Chad and his team then add in the support from Sage Fruit this year is amazing,” said Johnson, who also finished third on his prelim during the 2018 Chili Bowl and eighth in the finale. “The Chili Bowl is a spectacular event with a ton of cars and thousands of race fans.
