The Repsol Honda man Joan Mir suffered a crash in Friday’s Practice 2 at the Gran Premio d’Italia Oakley. Following the crash, Mir received a medical examination on his right hand, revealing damage to his fifth finger. Although Mir was not declared unfit to ride, he and his Repsol Honda Team have decided that rest is the best strategy for the Spaniard at this point in time. The Italian heads compatriot Casadei, with Krummenacher now third after Granado penalty puts the Brazilian fourth.
