‘I’ve never had that much pain’: Pierre Gasly is forced to visit a doctor following the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix after suffering from intestine issue late in the race on his way to eighth place

Pierre Gasly has revealed he had to consult a doctor in the immediate moments after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix having suffered from intestine pain late in the race. But the Frenchman admitted he battled through the pain barrier to gain the result after suffering with severe intestine pain late on in the race. ‘The last 15 laps I’ve never had that much pain, I don’t know what happened in my intestine,’ he told Sky Sports. ‘The last 10 laps was like getting stabbed every left corner, the most painful laps I’ve had so I don’t know what’s happened. Even without the physical pain, Gasly’s P8 finish was an excellent result for the Frenchman.
