The Monaco E-Prix provided us with 116 overtakes in the Principality, with Envision Racing’s Nick Cassidy flying from ninth to win. It was a disastrous start for the Avalanche Andretti of Andre Lotterer who was out of the race just moments into the race after making contact with a wall. All three drivers have won at least one race so far this season, and were all looking to get their first Formula E win around the crown jewel that is Monaco. The NIO 333 of Dan Ticktum made contact and got a piece of the front wing stuck under his front-right, however managed to get it to break off later on in the lap. Sam Bird (Jaguar) also made contact with Nico Mueller (ABT CUPRA) in the final laps, meaning the race finished under Safety Car.
