Monster Energy AMA Supercross rider Cooper Webb will spend six-to-eight weeks off the bike following the concussion he sustained during his April 29 crash at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jason Anderson — who endured what seemed like a minor crash at the Nashville, Tenn., round last weekend —will also be on the sidelines for the next few weeks. After racing, then practicing this week, I felt like something was wrong,” Anderson wrote, adding that he then sought out a CT scan that confirmed the fracture. According to a statement from Monster Energy Kawasaki, Anderson will sit out the remaining two rounds of Supercross to recover from his neck injury. In regard to the motocross season, a return date has not been set. Kawasaki wrote that Anderson will “take it week by week to determine his return to racing.”.
