— The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series is set to begin its race season at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala., for the 32nd annual Ice Bowl presented by Racecar Engineering on Jan. 5-7. On Saturday Jan. 7, the late model racers will compete in Impact Race Gear B-Mains and the 50-lap, $7,500-to-win main event. The super late model portion of the weekend will be sanctioned by the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series and will be contested under their series rules and regulations.
