‘I hope Lewis is very happy with himself’: Red Bull chief Christian Horner FUMES at Hamilton for ‘dirty driving’ that led to first-lap crash at British Grand Prix which saw Max Verstappen taken away in ambulance

Red Bull chief Christian Horner has taken aim at Lewis Hamilton and pinned the blame solely on the Mercedes superstar for his crash with Max Verstappen. And in the aftermath, a clearly irate Horner lashed out at Hamilton when speaking to the race director over the radio. Later, after Hamilton’s victory, Horner did not hold back when speaking to Sky Sports’ Ted Kravitz: ‘It shouldn’t be like that. Lewis Hamilton is an eight-time world champion and he shouldn’t be making manoeuvres like that. It was a big hit on the left front, so do a big check,’ Hamilton insisted. But Horner doubled down on his stance before the punishment, and witheringly labelled Hamilton’s daring manoeuvre as ‘dirty driving’.
