‘I F****D it up big time’: Lewis Hamilton apologises to Mercedes after crashing into a wall during ninth-placed finish in Singapore Grand Prix… despite earlier moaning that they hadn’t listened to him about his car’s tyres

Lewis Hamilton has apologised to his team saying he ‘f***** up big time’ after he crashed into a wall at turn seven of the Singapore Grand Prix. Hamilton was able to continue and apologised to his team over the radio following his crash. Bemoaning the Mercedes constructors, claiming they had not listened to him ahead of the race Hamilton said: ‘I told you about these tyres. This isn’t the first time Hamilton has exploded at his team this season, with the driver previously criticising his team at the Dutch Grand Prix in September, after their pit stop strategy blew his chances of claiming the championship. ‘That was the biggest f*** up,’ Hamilton yelled over Mercedes’ team radio.
