‘I can’t see where we would be able to accommodate Lewis’: Christian Horner rules out Red Bull move for Hamilton… despite Mercedes failing to agree new contract with veteran Brit

Christian Horner has ruled out a move for Lewis Hamilton, stating that Red Bull are happy with their current drivers despite Toto Wolff giving permission for Hamilton to leave Mercedes. This led to his future with Mercedes being thrown into doubt, with boss Toto Wolff expressing doubts over the 2023 car and Hamilton’s future. However, Red Bull boss Horner has now ruled out a move for Hamilton as he told SunSport: ‘What Lewis has achieved in Formula One is second to none, but we’re very happy with the drivers that we have. With expectation that Red Bulls’ competitors will improve this year, Horner believes his drivers will face strong competition in future races.
