F1 star Valtteri Bottas has long been labelled an honorary Aussie, and that has been well and truly confirmed now that he has a personalised VB longneck saying ‘true blue Aussie bogan’. Bottas spent a much of his last offseason in Australia, sporting a mullet and wearing a VB singlet as he and Cromwell enjoyed an extended holiday. And I like VB — for me it’s light, it’s a refreshing drink,’ he said. Bottas and Alfa Romeo unveiled the striking blue helmet ahead of the race, and he said he felt a connection to Aussie culture, and wanted to give something back.
