Historic touring cars' epic battle for space at Goodwood race start

The St Mary's Trophy at the Goodwood Revival always delivers the best historic touring car battles. In 2015 the pack blasts off the line, led by BTCC Champions Andrew Jordan and Gordon Shedden in Mk1 Lotus Cortinas with Frank Stippler's 1965 Alfa Romeo GTA in quick pursuit. As Jordan and Shedden almost exchange paint, Stippler goes wide into Woodcote allowing the BMW 1800 TiSA of WTCC's Andy Priaulx to make time whilst F1 legend Jochen Mass looms behind in his behemoth 7.0‑litre Ford Galaxie 500. What a first lap! #gwspeedweek #BTCC #TouringCarsr
