MB Motorsport accelerated by Blue Square ace Jake Hill went fastest during a wet morning session today (7 July) as the second day of the Goodyear tyre test got underway at Oulton Park. “A really good morning, with lots learned,” said Hill. We ended up fifth overall but that was with the soft tyre and just trying to understand it to be honest, doing race runs and that sort of thing. Local challenger Tom Oliphant (Team BMW) who was the first of the 23 drivers to hit the track initially held the fastest lap time but would settle for fourth by the end of the session.
