Heinrich Grabs Atlanta Porsche Cup Prize

BRASELTON, Ga. — Porsche Junior driver Laurin Heinrich concluded his North American debut with a victory in the 311RS Motorsports No. It was the young German’s first weekend of competition in the Porsche Carrera North America Presented by the Cayman Islands. The win in the second race of the weekend on the 2.54-mile, 12-turn road course by the 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup Germany champion was also the first win for 311RS Motorsports, one of the founding teams of the all-Porsche 911 GT3 Cup series in 2021Second place overall in the 40-minute race went to Riley Dickinson in the No. It was his second career win in the series, the first coming at Indianapolis Motor Speedway during Porsche Sports Car Together Fest in round 14 of the 16-race championship. It was the first time the 311RS Motorsports program has placed two cars on the Carrera Cup podium.
