Gustin Earns Redemption At River Cities

GRAND FORKS, N.D. — One night after a flat tire cost him a potential win, Ryan Gustin got his redemption Friday at River Cities Speedway. When Bronson caught traffic, Gustin moved to the top and found the momentum he needed to make a challenge on lap 12. With a burst of speed off turn two, Gustin pulled even with Bronson as the two waged war down the backstretch. However, Gustin wasn’t in the clear yet, as lapped traffic kept Bronson in striking distance. With a rapid caution-free feature, Gustin had to be on his game to stay in front of Bronson. Gustin’s win moves him to third in the series standings, 46 points behind Bobby Pierce, who finished 11th. Like Bronson, Marlar scored his second straight podium, finishing in third.
