Gravel Stays Steady Atop Sprint Car Rankings

Having picked up his eighth World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series triumph of the season Saturday at Wisconsin’s Cedar Lake Speedway, David Gravel remains on top of the National Sprint Car Rankings. Brad Sweet, who leads Gravel by four points in the World of Outlaws standings, is second in the rankings with a 5.590 average finish in 39 races. Sixty-three drivers have now made the 20 starts required to be eligible for the National Sprint Car Rankings. Six hundred and 93 drivers have started at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season. Cap Henry remains on top in the Great Lakes region, with Austin McCarl ahead of the Great Plains competitors.
