The USAC National Sprint Car Series visited Winchester Speedway on Sept. 15, 1968 with 35 cars making qualifying runs. Larry Dickson won the 100-lap feature to grab his 12th victory of the season aboard the Stapp No. Charlie Masters finished second, while Greg Weld, pictured above, finished third.
