VALENCIA, Spain – Vittorio Ghirelli had only one mission ahead of the EuroNASCAR 2 season finale at Circuit Ricardo Tormo on Sunday: to win. 50 Hendriks Motorsport Mustang in the early stages while Ghirelli was flying behind him. At the restart, Ghirelli swiftly passed Nicholas Risitano and Vladimiros Tziortzis to move into second and in a few corners chased down Dauenhauer. The EuroNASCAR 2 podium was rounded out by Risitano and Tziortzis, who had an intense battle for second in the middle of the race. While the overall championship taken from him in the final race of the year, Dauenhauer was on top of the Rookie Trophy podium for newcomers. The Rookie Trophy race win went to Tziortzis ahead of Dauenhauer and Simon Pilate. The final race in the Legend Trophy was won by Sokolovskiy, who finished ahead of Kenko Miura and Casoli.
