Max Verstappen continued Red Bull’s run of domination with victory at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, while Aussie Daniel Ricciardo will probably want to forget about his own performance. However, it wasn’t a good day for Ricciardo who limped home in 16th spot and endured an embarrassing moment on lap 49 of 50 when he spun out. Seven and a half seconds behind Max is a very, very solid performance and that’s exactly what they want. Simon Lazenby said: ‘It’s been a frustrating night for Danny Ricciardo. So painful three days, but I don’t want it to take any confidence out of us. ‘Hasn’t been the start that we wanted, but it’s Race 2, and Melbourne’s next. ‘Ideally you don’t want to do such a long stint with the tyre but we had to.’.
