AlphaTauri have confirmed that F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo will not drive at the Singapore Grand Prix, but will attend in an ‘engineering capacity’ as he recovers from a broken hand. There was no mention of Ricciardo’s plans for the Grand Prix in Japan next week as he continues his recovery. Any normal human being would be 10-12 weeks but we know that these guys aren’t normal. ‘So it will all be about the recovery process – is it going to be three weeks? It remains to be seen as to when he will return as Lawson continues to deputise for Ricciardo, and will take his place in Singapore.
