BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame announced on Wednesday that Brendan Gaughan — two-time NASCAR West champion, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and Xfinity Series race winner, and off-road racing star — has joined the organization’s board of directors. Gaughan of Las Vegas, Nev., was inducted into the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame with the most recent class of honorees in June 2022. He moved to NASCAR competition in 1998, winning the 2000-01 NASCAR West (now ARCA Menards Series West) championships, driving for West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Famer and fellow Board of Directors member Bill McAnally. His father, Michael, also is an inductee into the West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame.
