Garzo disqualified from MotoE™ Race 1

Tech 3 E-Racing’s Hector Garzo has been disqualified from FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup Race 1 at the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana due to low tyre pressures.
The Spaniard finished P2 after a phenomenal battle with race winner Eric Granado (Avintia Esponsorama Racing) and Bradley Smith (One Energy Racing), which meant Garzo, Smith and fourth place finisher Matteo Ferrari (Trentino Gresini MotoE) were heading into a Race 2 title-decider on Sunday.
However, Garzo has now been disqualified from Race 1, meaning Ferrari gets promoted to P3 which sees the Italian and Smith head into Sunday’s race as the only title contenders.
