From Russia with love: Gryazin back in WRC2

Russian driver Nikolay Gryazin has confirmed he will drive the full 2021 season in WRC2 in a Volkswagen Polo GTI 5. Back in the co-driver’s seat will be fellow Russian Konstantin Aleksandrov. Making his WRC debut on ice at Rally Sweden in 2019 in WRC2 (now WRC3), the Russian finished the season in a commendable fourth spot – the highlight coming with a class victory at Rally Finland. Stepping up to WRC2 in 2020 in a Hyundai i20 R5, two podium finishes highlighted a campaign that saw him finish the season in fifth position. “I’m incredibly happy to be back in WRC2,” commented Gryazin.
