FP1: Robin Frijns sets early pace in New York City

Envision Virgin Racing’s Robin Frijns fired to the top of the times in Free Practice 1, as the Dutchman and early standings leader seeks to bounce back from a dire weekend in Puebla last time out. Robin Frijns (Envision Virgin Racing) set the benchmark time in Free Practice 1 at the Brooklyn Street Circuit, with NIO 333’s Oliver Turvey and BMW i Andretti Motorsport driver Maximilian Guenther in close company. The top 10 all sat within a second of one-another as teams and drivers reaquainted themselves with streets of Red Hook, Brooklyn ahead of the 2021 ABB New York City E-Prix.
