FORMULA ONE superstars George Russell and Fernando Alonso celebrated New Year’s Eve in style as they partied together ahead of the 2023 season. The duo were pictured together at an event in the early hours of Sunday morning by Russell’s girlfriend, Carmen Montero Mundt. Both drivers appeared to be enjoying themselves as they danced the night away. Russell, 24, then posted the image on his Instagram story with a caption which simply read: “2023”. The Mercedes man and his girlfriend spent the evening together with a group of friends after dining at a local restaurant. Meanwhile, Alonso is set to join up with his new team Aston Martin.
