FORMULA ONE’S season could be extended to 30 races with new Grand Prixs in Las Vegas and Africa. Sin City last hosted an F1 Grand Prix in 1984 with South Africa staging one last in 1993. The sport’s CEO and president said: “We need to be balanced, we need to see what are the other opportunities. “On top of America, on top of China, I think there is a potential also to be in Africa soon. “There are some promoters who have expiring agreements, and probably some of the current Grand Prixs will no longer be part of the calendar.”.
