It was heartbreak for Kimi Raikkonen at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as the formula one icon crashed out of the final race of his storied career. Raikkonen was the first driver to retire in the season-ending race, after clipping a barrier in the Abu Dhabi showdown. Raikkonen retires at the age of 42 with a world title, 21 race wins and 103 podiums to his name. Prior to the race Raikkonen had cut a stoic figure, and said his wife would be more emotional about the grand farewell than himself personally. ‘I think for sure my wife will be more emotional about it.
