Former Force India team owner and boss Vijay Mallya has been sentenced to four months in jail. The next step for India is managing to extradite Mallya, 66, from the UK. In other legal news, former F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone will face London’s Westminster Magistrates Court on August 22. He is charged with fraud over some $500 million in undeclared overseas assets. “This follows a complex and worldwide criminal investigation by HMRC’s fraud investigation service,” said the service’s director Simon York.
