Flud Leads Belleville Micro Winners

BELLEVILLE, Kan. — Wrapping up Nebraska Micro Week with a dip into Kansas, the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division rolled to the quarter-mile inside the Belleville High Banks. Tyler Kuykendall ended up second with Loss in third. Five leaders through 25 laps, it all came down to the final few feet of the Non-Wing A-Feature, with Kale Drake getting it by .206 seconds over Tyler Kuykendall. Setting up on Tyler on Lap 21, Drake missed the pass by .046 seconds. There, but having to regroup his run, Drake was there on lap 23. Closer at .028 seconds on lap 23, the gap was .043 seconds with one to go. Tyler Kuykendall held on for second, as Frank Flud was there as well, but would have to settle for third. Leading every lap from the pole, Nunley ran off and hid by 2.723 seconds over Cale Lagroon.
