NEXT year, F1 is set for its biggest shake up in its history as radical new design rules promise to make the action even more exciting. F1’s rules have become so complicated that even the officials don’t understand them. The two need to be made clearer to teams, drivers and fans to make it simpler to understand. F1 must employ a set group of officials who attend every race and one of those should be a former F1 driver with recent racing experience. Given the protection around the racers, it is not easy to see them at work, but this latest camera setting does. A better way would be to hand over a couple of FP1 sessions to rookie drivers to give them some F1 racing experience.
