The FIA World Rallycross Championship will introduce full-electric Suppercars in 2021, a transitionary season when they will race directly against the existing internal combustion-engined cars.
2020 – Projekt E will be the leading all-electric support series to the World Championship, powered by STARD.
2021 – In the biggest change since the 2014 start of the FIA World Rallycross Championship, a new breed of full-electric Supercars powered by KREISEL will be introduced alongside the current internal combustion racecars.
Projekt E will continue as the leading electric support series powered by STARD while a new FIA eRallycross series will provide an entry-level series within World RX events.
