Ferrari’s 2019 F1 car has hit the track for the first time, ahead of pre-season testing in Barcelona.
The SF90 – which was unveiled on Friday in Maranello – turned its first laps around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel at the wheel as Ferrari carried out a filming day.
Vettel completed the bulk of the running in Ferrari’s latest F1 challenger before handing over to new teammate Charles Leclerc, who got his first taste of driving the 2019 car towards the end of the day.
Vettel will get back behind the wheel of the SF90 when the opening day of the first pre-season test gets underway on Monday morning.
