Bryan has always been a hands-off father when it came to his son’s racing career. “I don’t think he’s ever heard me talk on the radio before,” Colton said. When Andretti retired early from the first race at Iowa Speedway, Bryan switched his Andretti Autosport radio to Colton’s channel. Colton’s instinct to want Bryan as his strategist is another sign of how savvy the youngest race winner in INDYCAR history is – he turns 21 on March 30. “Obviously, neither of us would do it if we didn’t think we could do it,” Bryan said. Said Colton: “I think you can tell by now that we’re both pretty mellow.”.
