F1: Nico Hulkenberg frustrated by Brazil FP2 crash, but won’t face penalty

Hulkenberg explains how he was “a passenger” in his Interlagos practice crash on Friday, but says his car escape sustaining enough damage to trigger a grid penalty.
“I ran a bit too wide at the exit of the last corner, took a little bit too much kerb there, wanted a bit too much probably,” Nico Hulkenberg explained.
Nico Hulkenberg: “The car bottomed out, and from there it was done, I was a passenger.”
Nico Hulkenberg: “Obviously it’s far from ideal to crash on a Friday, it’s not what I want, but unfortunately it happened today.”
