Following Haas F1’s breakout season in 2018, team principal Günther Steiner chatted to Crash.net in Mexico about the secrets to the team’s success, its plans for the future, and why he doesn’t want Kevin Magnussen to change approach.
Günther Steiner: We started to talk with them, and it came along pretty quickly.
When we spoke in pre-season, things were looking quite good for Haas.
In terms of always wanting to be more competitive, to always want more and ideally make that step up to the ‘big three’ in F1 – 2021, does that seem to be the best turning point for that?
