F-1 Driver Patrick Tambay, 73

Former Ferrari, McLaren and Renault Formula 1 driver Patrick Tambay died at the age of 73. The Frenchman, who won a pair of Grands Prix during a lengthy Formula 1 career, had been struggling with Parkinson’s disease in recent years. Tambay won a pair of Can-Am championships before turning his efforts to Formula 1 full time in 1981 when he drove for Theodore. He scored his first Formula 1 victory for Ferrari at the German Grand Prix.
