Title-chasing Elfyn Evans says his prolonged absence from Secto Automotive Rally Finland (1 – 3 October) won’t impact on his pace at this week’s Jyväskylä speedfest. The classic Finland encounter didn’t run due to Covid-19 last year, but Evans also missed the 2019 event after injuring his back on a heavy landing at the Rally Estonia test event a week out from the start of the WRC fixture. “It’s not like everybody else has been there every year, is it?” said Evans.
