WRC runner-up Elfyn Evans says he must make ‘small improvements’ to try to finish the job he started this season. Evans’ mistake left the way clear for Toyota Gazoo Racing team-mate Sébastien Ogier to clinch a seventh title. Having come close this year, Evans says he has a clearer picture of what’s required to end next year one position higher. “He’s a very worthy champion this year and, for sure, we’re going to have to find some small improvements to take the fight to him and try to beat him next year. “I think it was the right way, the right approach,” he said.
