BWT Racing Point F1 Esports Team scored a top-six finish as the 2020 F1 Esports Pro Series kicked off with a triple-header across Bahrain, Vietnam and China. The team scored at least a point in all three races, but poor luck and technical issues hindered the opening two races in Bahrain and Vietnam. The team opened the season with a point under the lights in Bahrain as Lucas secured a Top 10 finish. Lucas: “To have such an unlucky qualifying gave me huge motivation for the race in China. “It was disappointing but I’m really happy with the result in the race. Daniele: “I think with a bit more luck, we could’ve had a strong opening event with good points. China was a difficult event for me, and the first lap contact prevented us from recovering in the race.
