In the opener at Zandvoort, Shanaka Clay made his long-awaited F1 Esports Pro Series debut – and you can catch up with our recap below. Shanaka lined up alongside Lucas for his long-awaited debut, but the BWT Racing Point F1 Esports Team pair had a challenging qualifying, lining up in P18 and P20 respectively. At the start, both drivers were on the hunt and Lucas made up an incredible four places on the opening lap, with Shanaka gaining two places in an impressive charge. Battling against their Haas, Renault and McLaren rivals, Shanaka would cross the line in P14 with Lucas in P16, but in-race penalties through the field meant the two swapped places post-race. With both Lucas and Daniele unlucky to miss out on Q3, lining up in P12 and P14 respectively, the race was on to claim a Top 10finish.
