Eight-time North American champion Craig Drew will co-drive Oliver Solberg at next week’s Secto Automotive Rally Finland (1 – 3 October). They were team-mates of Solberg when the Swede tackled the series in 2019. The partnership is understood to be for Finland only as Solberg finalises a permanent replacement for Johnston. Round 11 marks Solberg’s debut on Rally Finland’s rollercoaster gravel roads, although he finished seventh on Lapland’s frozen tracks in February at Arctic Rally Finland Powered by CapitalBox. “We got a bit of a feeling for Finland when we did Arctic in February, but this is the one. Solberg lies 17th in WRC2 after retiring from the last three rounds and is making no predictions for Finland’s specialised roads where experience counts for a lot.
