Donohue Heads Brumos Racing’s Return To Pikes Peak

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Brumos Collection and Brumos Racing will compete for a second straight year at the 101st running of The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 25 with driver David Donohue. Donohue will again drive the Brumos Collection/Brumos Racing Porsche GT2 RS Clubsport prepared by BBI Autosport, decked out in the iconic Brumos Racing livery, that he raced in 2022 to a Time Attack 1 division win at a time of 10:35.830 minutes. The goal this year, in celebration of Brumos Racing’s 50th anniversary of the team’s overall win at the 1973 24 Hours of Daytona, is to defend the division win while breaking that record. “All in all, I am very excited for this year’s competition, a new century for Pikes Peak, the 50th anniversary for Airtech Advanced Materials, and a celebration commemorating the 50th anniversary of Brumos Racing’s first Daytona 24-Hour race win. The car is currently at the Brumos Collection and Museum in Jacksonville, Fla., where it is being prepared.
