SOMERSET, Ky. — DIRTcar Racing will sanction all late model events run by the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series this season. Drivers from locations in various regions will now have easier access to participating in Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model DIRTcar Series events, knowing they don’t have to make wholesale changes to their cars to conform to different rule packages. The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series had taken note of Hoosier Racing Tire’s new universal late model compounds for 2023, allowing drivers from other surrounding series and tracks to compete and travel without having to have more than two or three tire selections in their haulers.
