GRAYSON, Ky. – Dirt late model veteran Jackie Boggs died Saturday at the age of 50. Jackie Boggs entered racing to follow in the tire tracks of his late father, National Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Jack Boggs. The younger Boggs was a three-time winner with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series and a three-time winner with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. He also earned 11 triumphs with the Mid-Atlantic Championship Series and four with the STARS dirt late model tour. Boggs’ father was a three-time Dirt Track World Championship winner and topped the 2000 running of the World 100 at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
