Day Remains On Top In Sprint Car Rankings

California teenager Corey Day remains on top of the National Sprint Car Rankings for the second consecutive week. Day, who did not race this past week, has 20 starts which is the minimum to be eligible for the rankings. Day, who has won eight features, has an average finish of 3.850. Gravel has an average finish of 4.979, while Sweet’s average finish is 5.383. A six-time feature winner this season, Cap Henry leads the Great Lakes region, with Mark Dobmeier, who ranks sixth nationally, on top of the Great Plains region. Day paces the Western with Trey Starks on top in the Northwest region.
