Davison Honoring Fellow Aussie Dick Johnson At Darlington

DARLINGTON, S.C. — Australian James Davison will recognize one of his country’s all-time great race car drivers when he straps into the Rick Ware Racing No. 15 for the Goodyear 400 NASCAR Cup Series event May 9 at Darlington Raceway. The car’s paint scheme for the Throwback weekend at The Track Too Tough To Tame will copy the livery sported by Australian Supercar legend Dick Johnson when he drove his own car in three events during the 1990 Cup Series campaign. “As a fellow Australian, I am proud to bring back Dick Johnson’s NASCAR paint scheme from 1990,” Davison said.
