MORRIS, Ill. — Anthony Danta raced to his first feature win of the season on Friday night as he grabbed top honors in the 30-lap late model stock car feature race at Grundy County Speedway. Danta, the track’s 2016 late model champion, drove the Lisa Trgovich-owned, Attorney Ray Szarmach-sponsored Ford No. “(Turns) 3 and 4 isn’t as huge of a deal, but in 1 and 2, if you can get it to turn on the bottom and come off down there, it makes a big advantage,” Danta said after his win. John Ventrello won the 25-lap sportsman division feature race, posting his first win of the year.
