Daniel Ricciardo expects his patience to again be tested at the Australian Formula One grand prix. But Ricciardo, in his second season with McLaren, is tempering local hopes of drastic improvement at Melbourne’s Albert Park circuit. ‘Everything feels more familiar […] I do feel more comfortable,’ Ricciardo said of his McLaren. ‘I expect to be getting better – but I don’t obviously want to wait too long.’. But one thing Ricciardo believes he has mastered is carrying the weight of local expectations at the Australian grand prix. ‘That is one thing over the years that I have tried to learn – to manage a home race better,’ he said.
