Daniel Ricciardo is NOT thinking about Sergio Perez’s seat and insists he is looking forward to ‘some time off’ after 11 straight years in F1… despite hinting at a 2024 return

Daniel Ricciardo has dismissed claims he is looking to switch places with Sergio Perez at Red Bull in 2023 and admitted he was looking forward to ‘the time off from Formula 1. Ricciardo has now returned to Red Bull – where he won seven Grands Prix before leaving for Renault in 2019. However, has returned to Christian Horner’s team as a reserve driver. Speaking to Sky Sports, Ricciardo said: ‘I think really for me my mindset is to really try and help the team. Ricciardo refused to give much away when speaking Sky Sports last week, but he did say: ‘I think I’ll get my answer [on whether I want to return] inside.
