Daniel Ricciardo insists he STILL has nothing lined up for 2023 as axed McLaren star remains coy over reserve driver talks with Mercedes and Red Bull

Daniel Ricciardo has remained tight-lipped on his motor racing future as the axed McLaren star addressed speculation linking him two of the big teams. Those rumours intensified when Ricciardo was spotted leaving the Mercedes garage ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, where the Australian recorded his best result of the season, crossing the line in fifth place. However, Ricciardo has re-iterated that he has not committed his future to any team, but admitted that talks are still open with a number of suitors. When asked whether he would join one of the top teams in 2023, he said: ‘I don’t [have a deal lined up]. Ricciardo was a member of Red Bull’s junior programme, making his debut in 2011 before earning a promotion to the top team in 2014.
