Daniel Ricciardo finally finds out when he’ll drive for Red Bull this season – as it’s revealed Ramadan could have already decided the date of next year’s Australian F1 Grand Prix

Daniel Ricciardo will drive a Red Bull at the British Grand Prix next month, with the team eager to ‘evaluate’ his pace as the Australian’s quest for a seat goes on. The Australian returned to Red Bull as reserve driver this year after parting ways with McLaren 12 months earlier than planned following two unsuccessful seasons. So far this season, Ricciardo has only worked in the simulator but Red Bull team advisor Helmut Marko confirmed the Australian will take part in three days of testing after the British Grand Prix, which is scheduled for July 9. Meanwhile, Red Bull boss Christian Horner urged Ricciardo to rediscover his mojo after admitting the Australian is not the driver he once was. Meanwhile, according to British Formula One journalist Joe Saward, the Australian GP will be held on March 24 next year.
